Curriculum Vitae of Elli Hatzikiriakidou
Elli
Hatzikiriakidou was born in Alexandroupoli where she started her studies on
music with Th.Papadopoulos. Afterwards she entered the State
Concervatory of Thessaloniki and she took her diploma on Harmony, Counterpoint,
Fugue, Instrumentation, Singing and Melodrama(class of Katerina Karatza) with "Unanimously
Excellent" proficiency.
During her studies she has taken classes and
seminars on singing technique with A. Kontogeorgiou, G. Michaelidou, I.
Troussa, G. Ravazzi, B.Tsambali, Christa Ludwig seminars on theoretical music with A. Baltas, I. Ioannidis, K. Nikitas seminars of choir conducting with A. Kontogeorgiou as well as seminars on
interpretation of melodramma with B. Nikolaidis and P. Kartalof.
Elli
Hatzikiriakidou won the first price at the "Philipos Nakas" Singing
Competition.
She has given a great number of concerts and recitals and from
1995 and on, she participates in Opera Performances. Until now she has
interpreted the roles of
Belinda ("Dido and Aeneas" of Henry
Purcell),
Monica ("Medium" of Menotti),
Serafina ("Il Campanello"
of G. Donizzetti),
Titania (from the "Midsummer Night Dream" of B.
Britten),
Pamina and Queen of the Night ("Die Zauberflote" of
W.A.Mozart),
Nella (" Gianni Schichi" of G. Puccini)
Olympiada
from the opera "Olympiada" of the Greek composer Sarantis Kassaras
Constanze ("Die Entführung aus dem Serail" of W.A.Mozart)
Ayse ("Ayse" by K.Samaras)
She has also participated as soloist in concerts and recitals. She has performed many famous compositions from great international and Greek composers.
